Minn Kota Powerdrive V2 Pontoon Boat Trolling Motor with Quick Release Bracket (68-lb Thrust, 48" Shaft) Feature

  • Ultra-quiet trolling motor with 68 pounds of thrust and 48-inch shaft
  • Quick-release lever for fast motor deployment
  • Side-to-side steering foot pedal with precise speed control knob
  • Digital Maximizer technology helps battery run 5 times longer on single charge
  • Unique bearing system reduces friction to cut fish-spooking noise; 3-year warranty
The PowerDrive V2 trolling motor from Minn Kota marks an evolutionary leap forward for the company. The original PowerDrive was one of the company's most popular trolling motors ever, but the PowerDrive 2 takes things to the next level with such features as an improved deploy mechanism, a new ergonomically designed foot pedal, and digital electronics. The PowerDrive 2 is equipped with a deploy-assist lever that keeps the motor securely stowed during rough water runs and while trailering, but that also unlocks quickly when you need to deploy the motor. As a result, you can drop in and pursue fish at a moment's notice.

The PowerDrive V2 trolling motor runs smoothly and quietly on the water.
The side-to-side steering foot pedal, meanwhile, includes a momentary/constant on switch, a speed control knob for precise adjustments, and an 18-inch cord with waterproof connector plugs.

The PowerDrive V2 comes standard with Minn Kota's Digital Maximizer technology, which helps the battery run up to five times longer on a single charge, along with an indestructible composite shaft (guaranteed for life) and a push-to-test battery meter. Plus, the PowerDrive 2 is compatible with a host of convenient accessories (sold separately). Minn Kota's Universal Sonar 2 system, for example, provides interference-free sonar performance, water temperature sensing, and dual beam technology to give you an expanded view underwater and greater bottom detail. The Universal Sonar 2 includes an integrated and protected transducer that's compatible with most major fish-finder brands. In addition, the PowerDrive 2 is compatible with Minn Kota's patented AutoPilot navigation system. With the AutoPilot, you simply point the motor head in the direction you want to travel and the boat will automatically keep you on that course. Finally, the motor offers extra-large windings and commutators that dissipate heat, resulting in cooler operation, extended battery power, and a longer motor life. Minn Kota even added a unique bearing system with reduced friction to cut fish-spooking noise. Ideal for pontoon boats, the PowerDrive V2 motor offers 68 pounds of thrust.

About Minn Kota
Minn Kota is the oldest manufacturer of electric fishing motors in the world with nearly 70 years of hard-earned experience in the lab and on the water. Throughout their history, Minn Kota has led the way in product innovation and cutting-edge technology. The Minn Kota electric trolling motor began its life in 1934 in Fargo, North Dakota. Mr. O. G. Schmidt, inventor of the trolling motor, was known to be a man of many diverse ideas. Prior to the trolling motor, Mr. Schmidt invented, produced and sold a copper soldering torch from his home in Wheatland, North Dakota. Due to its success, manufacturing operations were then moved to Fargo. Because of its proximity to the MINNesota-North DaKOTA border, Mr. Schmidt named the business The Minn Kota Manufacturing Company.

Powerdrive V2 is perfect for pontoon boats. It includes a quick release bracket ideal for fishing or for quickly removing the motor for maximum versatility. This motor features 68lbs of thrust and a 48" shaft.
